ABOUT THIS PIECE

Shot at Brian Wilson's Bellagio Road hacienda style house in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles by Bob Jenkins for Brother Records in the summer of 1970. This photo was used in the promotion of the critically acclaimed Sunflower album released August 31, 1970. One of the most collaborative albums The Beach Boys had made up to that time with song writing contributions and lead vocals from Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Dennis Wilson, Carl Wilson, Mike Love and Brian Wilson across the album. Re-released with Surf's Up as part of Feel Flows in 2021 album and this photo of all six members of the band was reused. Photographer Bob Jenkins. Brother Records Archive.
