Sam Erickson

Sam Erickson is a photographer and director whose still and motion work has featured some of the most compelling artists of the last 30 years. Beginning with his groundbreaking work with Dave Matthews Band, Sam created a body of work and archive that draws in John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, Phish, Kris Kristofferson, Jon Bon Jovi, and many more. Sam was one of the official photographers of Woodstock 99, shooting the both the iconic concerts and their disastrous aftermath. A keen student of musical movements and cultural dynamics, Sam brings a social-scientist's perspective to documenting the process of creating and performing music.
