March, 1971, Fayetteville, North Carolina. A shot for Time magazine. Don Sutherland was part of Jane Fonda's FTA troupe of actors performing anti-war skits around the country near military bases; they were vilified by most people but they were a lot of fun. This photo was made outside the Ft Bragg, NC base.
