Marilyn Monroe, White Robe, 1955
In March of 1955, Marilyn had just finished doing her makeup and was wearing her favorite outfit, her white terrycloth robe. As she came out of the studio, Milton said “let’s shoot this.” And, unprompted, he began shooting her in the robe.
