He rescued many lost animals off the streets in the Coachella Valley.Never bet against the runt, he'd say, because he considered himself to be one too. His granddaughter cherished his wise words and loving kindness in support of animals in need - not surprising coming from a man named after St. Francis, the patron saint of animals - he lived up to his name in the eyes of many wonderful creatures who he helped. 100% proceeds go to help at-risk animals via the non-profit Rational Animal.
