“On May 27, 1979 I was hired to take trade photos of comedian Robert Klein interviewing his guests on the set of his syndicated radio show, The Robert Klein Hour. The air conditioning was out and Jerry, who was a guest that day, was waiting in the green room for it to get fixed. I peeked in the room and saw him rolling a joint on his briefcase. He asked me if I knew a place where he could smoke it, so I escorted him to a large, six-foot window leading to the rooftop. He grabbed his briefcase and followed me through the window up to the roof, where he lit up the joint and was happy to pose for a bit.” — Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss
