"Sly’s music had such a scintillating vitality and that’s exactly how I found him to be in person. I went to a house in Hollywood to shoot and hung out there for a day with the ‘family’. At one point Sly was dancing with his wife, Kathy, the two of them hugging their new baby with obvious delight.
