“Mary arrived at my loft in Manhattan two hours late. At the time, she was dating Jo-Jo Hailey from the Jodeci band. She spent an hour arguing with him over the phone as she was getting her hair and make-up done. After she hung up on him, she transformed into a professional with her charming personality and was ready for the shoot.
