It was 1976 and I was summoned to Shelter Records deep in the heart of Hollywood by co-owner Denny Cordell. “Miss A” he said in that lyrical British accent, we have a new band. "Could you pop by and take some photos of the boys?”
When I arrived the following afternoon I met Tom, Mike , Benmont, Ron, Stan and Jeff Jourard who was in the mix at the time. It was like meeting the Marx Bros. So much energy ! We had quite an adventure that went on for hours and then we did a second day. By the time that second session happened Jeff was no longer with them.
