Seeing Maynard James Keenan’s face this clearly during a Tool show is a bit of a rarity to anyone who has seen them play in the past 20 years. He’s usually in a dark corner or has his back to the crowd, or both. Seeing Tool this close in broad daylight was something I’ll never forget. Here they are at Lollapalooza in Vancouver on June 18, 1993.
