Leon Russell at the piano on “Good Ones And Bad Ones,” a song George Jones recorded in duet with Mark Chesnutt on the first day of Jones’ Bradley Barn Sessions on February 8, 1994. The sessions were remarkable for the many iconic music artists who came to sing with Jones but also for the A-list musicians who producer Brian Ahern enlisted to back the singers. Russell’s piano can be heard on four of the songs released on the Bradley Barn Sessions album. During the sessions, Russell also sang with George Jones on, “Window Up Above.” Recording of that song was released on Jones’ album “Burn Your Playhouse Down.”
