In this April 1959, Don Hunstein photograph, Miles Davis sat on a stool at the Columbia Records Studio on East 30th Street in Manhattan to reflect on the sounds that he, his quintet, and pianist Bill Evans were creating for the groundbreaking album, Kind Of Blue. It would become not only one of Miles' undisputed masterpieces, but the best-selling jazz album of all-time.
