ABOUT THIS PIECE

I photographed Ralph Stanley at the small hilltop family cemetery while I was backed up against the crypt of his already departed former singing partner, brother Carter Stanley. Ralph's already-prepared crypt, where he now rests, sits immediately beside Carter's.

Archival pigment print on baryta 315 gsm, acid-free, 100% cotton-fiber paper.
