ABOUT THIS PIECE
I call this 'How to engineer a shot when there are 3,000-plus people in the audience in a club that's supposed to hold 2,000 and the fire department is about to close it down on it’s opening night.' But when you look at the photo, it's just him; a moment caught in time, with no hint of the ensuing panic. I was shooting on stage waiting for 'the shot' ... Snap! The camera, or rather the photographer, creates his own reality. -- Richard E. Aaron
