Chuck Berry, Dallas, Texas. I photographed Chuck Berry at a dinner theatre performance in Dallas in late 1970’s… not a big crowd there, I thought he might actually blow it off, but just the contrary. He performed like it was a major venue, with realistically under a hundred in the house. I made this photograph of him as he was “duck-walking” across the stage, he put on a legendary performance, one I won’t forget. Jay Dickman
