ABOUT THIS PIECE

This photo was taken when David had just finished shooting a grueling scene in The Man Who Fell to Earth where his character Thomas Jerome Newton is vivisected by government scientists in order to find out who or what he is. There is something of a Charlotte Rampling look about this shot. --Geoff MacCormack
