ABOUT THIS PIECE

While I was waiting for Ice Cube to show up for our shoot for Details Magazine (4 days!), I visited Graceland and got the idea to shoot some of Elvis’ belongings, everything from outfits to police badges. We had to jump some significant hurdles to make it happen within a couple of days but we finally scheduled a shoot at Graceland on a Sunday night. Me and my assistants were all alone - save for two security guards who left us alone to shoot - and we were sure we heard ghosts. Kinda creepy but also pretty trippy." - Jesse Frohman
