Frank Zappa at the Fillmore East, NYC, 1969
ABOUT THIS PIECE
Zappa and The Mothers of Invention had a fiercly loyal following. His concerts were always musically challenging, funny, and thought provoking. Just a flick of the finger or a raised eyebrow would cue the entire band of extremely well-rehearsed players. He was a multi-talented musician as these images illustrate. –EKSize of panel 27x34 design by Peter Kavanaugh.
