“This photo was taken on Motley Crue’s tour bus during the Shout at the Devil tour in 1984 when they were opening for Ozzy Osbourne. I was Ozzy’s tour photographer and traveling on his bus. The Crue asked me to join them on theirs for a few days. As Nikki escorted me on the bus, Tommy was sitting in the driver’s seat and stopped me from going any further by blocking the entrance with his leg. Tommy then held me while Nikki started biting my leg and said to me, “Draw blood.” I had no idea what he was talking about. As he continued to bite me, he shouted out again, “Draw blood.” As the blood started dripping down my leg I finally figured out Nikki wanted me to bite him back. I grabbed the bottle of Jack Daniels and began guzzling to ease the pain. I finally gave in and bit Nikki back. It was an initiation that the Crue were infamously known for.” — Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss
