Pete Townshend and Eric Clapton, Rainbow Theatre, London, 1973
ABOUT THIS PIECE
There had been a lot of concern about Clapton and the bad period he was going through. He had not recorded or done live shows for two years and had become a recluse in his home. Pete Townshend organized a concert for him with many other musicians to help him make a comeback and get him together again. It was a fantastic concert and Eric, with a lot of help from his friends including Townshend, Ron Wood, Steve Winwood, Rick Grech, and Jim Capaldi, returned with vengeance. — Barrie Wentzell30x40 size is archival digital print.
