Gregg with portrait of his brother Duane Allman in August of 1975 at a People Magazine shoot. “(Gregg) finally showed up at around midnight – when the Allman’s got down to rehearsing for a couple of hours, which for us was a rare rock ‘n’ roll treat. Then, Gregg, ace guitarist Dickey Betts, Dickey’s friend Bonnie Bramlett (formerly of Delaney & Bonnie), Jim, and I hung out through the night at Gregg’s home. -- Ken Regan
