I engineered the Stones recording of the Beggars Banquet album, with Jimmy Miller producing. Since I had worked with them previously on Satanic Majesties, Between The Buttons, and the Flowers albums, they felt fairly relaxed about me being around them with a camera. I always felt that Brian was the most innovative musician and the real heart and soul of the band.During these recordings the famed French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard was making “Sympathy for the Devil” (known as “One Plus One” in the UK) a documentary on the Stones. –EK
