Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, & RickySkaggs, Rehearsing at Bradleys Barn, Mount Juliet, Tennessee, 1994
Harmonizing their voices for the song “Where Grass Won’t Grow”, Dolly Parton and
Emmylou Harris were joined by Ricky Skaggs when they rehearsed for the recording of the song with George Jones on February 16, 1994 at Bradley’s Barn in Mount Juliet, TN. Skaggs did not sing on that recording. He was sitting in on the part that was intended for Linda Ronstadt. She couldn’t make the session. In her place, Trisha Yearwood contributed her voice to the recording that was released on Jones’ Bradley Barn Sessions album.
