“In the early ‘80s MTV hired me to shoot many of their contests, including the “Pink Houses Party House Giveaway.” Viewers sent in postcards, and the winner was flown with 25 friends to Bloomington, Indiana, for a house party hosted by John Cougar Mellencamp, who would also play a live concert. The winner then kept the house. The 25 friends actually painted the house pink with John and the band. During painting breaks, John and his band mates threw around the football.” — Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss
