After playing The Beatles final gig at San Francisco's Candlestick Park, August 29, 1966, John Lennon leaves for Hanover, Germany,to begin filming the black comedy,How I Won The War.Filming in Celle, Germany, with co-star Michael Crawford, it will be Lennon's first project without the other Beatles.
