By June 1959, when Don Hunstein snapped this informal portrait of Tony Bennett in the studio, the young crooner was riding the crest of an extended string of hits going back to 1951's Because of You, Tony's first #1 single and first million seller. Here, Hunstein finds Tony beaming alongside the chart for his recording of Charlie Chaplin's Smile, which would also hit the Billboard Pop Singles chart later that year.
