Led Zeppelin (The Battle of Evermore), Madison Square Garden, NYC, 1977
“I closed out my high school years by shooting Led Zeppelin, who sold out six concerts at Madison Square Garden. I shot the first one, on June 7, 1977. During the shows they would do a short acoustic set; when I took this pic they were playing “The Battle of Evermore.” While my schoolmates were all home getting dressed for the prom, I was photographing the mighty Zeppelin and hustling my shots for a buck a piece outside the venue at the other five other shows.” — Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss
